is a professor at the University of Tennessee, Siskin Chair of Excellence Director - RISE Project  (associated with Peter Dowrick and Creating Futures).  Dr. Buggy has authored numerous articles on VSM and is author of “Seeing is Believing: Video Self-Modeling for People with Autism and Other Developmental Disabilities” , a ”how-to” presentation about video self-monitoring



  
Peter W. Dowrick 

 



Father of Video Self Modeling".  Peter is a Professor of Disability Studies and Graduate Studies in Psychology at University of Hawaii, Professor Emeritus, University of Alaska; Honorary Professor of Psychology, University of Auckland. 

Dr. Dowrick is currently Director of Creating Futures - Center on Disabilities Studies University of Hawaii, at the forefront of the research in Video Self Modeling.  Dr. Dowrick publishes and has consulted/ presented in 31 states and 21 countries.  Author of numerous articles ans 4 books including,
"The Practical Guide to Using Video in the Behavioral Sciences"

Christos Nikopoulos


Christos is a lecturer at the  School of Health Sciences and Social Care  Brunel University, West London U.K.  Christos as written and lectured widely in the areas of autism and neurological and behavioral interventions in special education including the use of VSM: to promote social play, teach complex social sequences, as a treatment procedure, as an evidence-based treatment for children with autism as well as adults with traumatic brain injury.





Mary Anne Prater 





Mary Anne is Chair, Professor Counseling Psychology and Special Education Brigham Young University. Professor Prater has published numerous articles on education.  She collaborated with Peter Dowrick on the use of video modeling. Research and scholarly activities relate to: effective instructional strategies for students with mild to moderate disabilities, special education teacher preparation, and portrayal of disabilities in children's literature special educators
